To do this, the content needed to be displayed in a clearer form to make it easier for users to read and digest the information. By designing the website in a simple structure that did not overload the users it was likely to encourage them to read and find out what Ellis & Co have to offer them increasing the conversion rates. Iconography was implemented to create easily digestible summaries of the textual content that also creates a way for users to remember the content too.

Icons are a highly valuable feature to use on a website, delivering benefits such as displaying a summarised message to the users in a visual representation and breaking up the textual content. By displaying the core message of the text as an icon allows the user to interpret it quickly and know whether they want, need or should read the actual text.
