Our strategy started with an analysis of the competitor strategy and keyword strategy. This then leads to the development of the keyword strategy specific to their game’s category keywords and game pages keywords. As there was no previous strategy implemented, throughout the review’s issues were found such as lack of backlinking and keyword implementation, missing metadata, and quality of the content.
The next stage was analysing SOFTGAMES competitors and gaining an insight into their SEO, keyword strategy and backlinks. This enabled an understanding of what is required to compete in the market and where they are performing in comparison to the competition. This was important as it gave us a basis of the strategy to be competitive in the market.
We used the analysis to take action by creating an optimised keyword action plan and strategy that retargets the website’s keywords. The plan was made up using recommended keywords which provided primary, service and content management keywords. They are used throughout the website to ensure that it is gaining trust and page authority from the search engines to reach the relevant target.
