We started the process by analysing the performance of the previous SEO strategy that was performing well and ranked above the government. One problem with the previous strategy was the quantity of spam therefore we used the analysis to develop a strategy that minimised the likeliness of receiving spam leads. Based on our analysis of the recommended keywords providing primary, service, and content management keywords we refined the keyword strategy to ensure that they were targeting specifically relevant users which are more likely to generate business rather than a broader audience that creates spam. The clients focused on the keywords throughout writing a blog which resulted with the website ranking above the government site on Google.
